Meeting Notes
May 26th
- 1. Meets are optional, but you must participate in at least 3 to compete in the NCWV championship in July. If you are planning on the champs meet, try to get your meets in early as there are unexpected circumstances, like meet cancelations, that could happen during the season.
- 2.We will need volunteers for meets. Please consider signing up for volunteer roles. We need 19-20 to run a home meet! You will sign up for these roles just as you will sign up your children for meets. See below for more info.
- 3.RSVP for meets:
- a.On the website, go to “meets and events” and then “signup calendar”
- b.On the app, click on the event you want to RSVP for and follow the prompts.
If you don't know which events to choose for your child and they have no preferences, you can just pick "attending" and then the coach will select events. Please be aware that our coaches get final authority on what events your child swims! We are only allowed to send a certain number of entries per event due to space constraints in the pools, so our coaches may have to move your child into different and/or fewer events than you may have selected.
- 4.Team gear is optional. The link for our team swimsuits is at the bottom of our homepage and is through another website called swimoutlet.com. The link for tees and hoodies is on our website under the “tee and hoodie order form” tab. The deadline for the tee and hoodie form is Monday, May 29!!!!!
- 5.Please continue to use the front parking lot by the chapel, as the rear lot will be blocked for paving soon.
- 6.Please remember that your child needs to enter and leave with coverups over his/her bathing suit. This is a D&E policy and we must abide by the college rules.
